Graze Box - #2 November 2013

Hey Y'all!  I was to apologize for being behind.  I have become sick with the weather change, but I am still here to tell you about the goodies I got.  So lets get to it.  Graze Box is awesome!  I love this sub box and for 6 bucks for snacks, well thats makes it a must have for me.  As you know I love food and trying new flavors, so this is good sub box for me.  As you know, it is also in my frugal realm, being 6 bucks for the box.  =}

 Here is the box, the box and all the contents are recyclable, thats is greet especially because I live in Austin and we do a lot of recycling here.  I also thing the box being green makes me as happy as the snacks inside. =}
You can see I couldn't wait to dig in before taking a picture
The Herb Garden - oregano rice crackers, crispy peanuts and baked herb bites.  The crispy peanuts are peanuts covered with a crispy coating with is a hint of sweetness with a slight onion flavor.  The rice crackers have an oregano flavor, but it's not sharp or too strong.  My fiance likes oregano a lot, so he really liked this one.  The baked herb bites where my favorite, there was a hint of soy sauce and sweetness, you know when you cook with soy sauce and it caramelizes?  Yeah thats the flavor.  =}

Oven Roasted Salt & Vinegar Nut Selection salt and vinegar almonds and peanuts.  I like salt and vinegar together, like the salt and vinegar chips. (So good)  I knew I would like this one and I did.  I was very pleasantly surprised though, the salt was definitely there and the vinegar was slightly dusted on the nuts, it wasn't really strong like on the chips I have had...  =}

The Eton Mess is a funny name but either way I really liked it.  It has mini meringues, blackcurrants, cranberries and almond slices.  The blackcurrants were sour and sweet and so good, this was the first time I have ever had blackcurrants.  The almond slices were slivers but still had the almond flavor, I know sometimes if you slice something really thin it can lose its flavor.  The mini meringues again had the freeze dried taste to them, but it doesn't bother me.  Have you ever had astronaut ice cream?  Yeah thats the flavor I'm talking about...

Authentic Korai Chutney with baked Curry Bites.  I wasn't very sure about this, curry is not my favorite spice, I really don't like it.  So with that said, I didn't like the curry bites alone, but with the chutney I did.  I really liked the chutney, it has a sweet and peppery flavor.  I went back to the site and looked up the description and it stated it is a tomato puree with a few different things in it like tamarind, carrots, garlic, salt, ginger ad a few other things.  I was very surprised I liked it but the flavor danced on my palette, it was very good.  It even tasted really good with the oregano rice crackers.  =}

And they put the little card in it that has the nutritional information about each one of the snacks...

I am very happy I was referred by Ann to this box and that I signed up for it.  So far I have had a few people use my FriendCode and I have one more left.  If you have not signed up for this box you are missing out.  I absolutely LOVE this box.

I just got another one in the mail, so it is time to gather with the family and taste all the snacks and post it too.
Bye for now Y'all  <3

Graze Box #1 November 2013

Hi Y'all!  OK, the first thing I want to say is, I am so sorry I am behind in my Graze Box posts. I actually got 2 this month, I always get 2 a month, and I didn't posts either one.  I will do that now for the first one.  I am always excited to get this box in the mail and I didn't let me down.  I love food, I love to try new stuff and flavors.  The flavors and flavor fusions have my taste buds dancing for most of these little nibble boxes.  OK, so lets get on with it...

This is the box...

I love that the box and all the containers inside are recyclable.  I live in a Austin and we are a eco-friendly city.  So, this box is right up my alley being green...  =}

A friend of mine told me that when I get these I will love them, they are one of her favorite things to get in her Graze Box.  Well, Ann you were SO right!  The BBQ pistachios are so good, they are the first thing I tasted too.  These are the Mississippi BBQ Pistachios - roasted pistachios with BBQ seasoning.  They taste exactly like they sound and are very good.  I will have to say I would love to get these again.

I got these and I was not sure if I would like them.  My whole family loves Key Lime Pie, but to flavor something to taste like it hhhmmm...  Well, much to my surprise I actually liked it, I can't say I loved it though =/  This is the Key Lime Pie  lime infused raisins, sponge pieces, mini meringues and green raisins.  The sponge pieces tasted funny, kind of like an animal cookie.  The mini meringue had that freeze dried taste to it, which didn't bother me.  The lime flavored raisins were just ok and the green raisins had the same lime flavor.  So, all in all not a bad snack but not loved...

Being from Texas, I love spicy food, the Jalapeno Fiesta was so good.  I really liked it and I will put it on my love list so I can hopefully get it sooner then later.  Jalapeno Fiesta has jalapeno peanuts, roasted sunflower seeds, salsa almonds, and roasted pumpkins seeds.  There are a lot of different nuts in here and I loved them all.  The green pumpkin seeds threw me off at first, but honestly they were pretty good. Who can resist sunflower seeds, NOT me.  I am in hopes that this will come in a box soon... =}

SOOOOO GOOD!!!
The last thing in this box was the flapjacks, I wasn't exactly sure what flapjacks would be.  We call pancakes flapjacks, these are nothing like a pancake  LOL anyway...  The Apple Cinnamon Flapjack a is rustic rolled oat flapjack with apple and cinnamon.  It is like a soft granola bar, thats what I thought when I ate it.  I' went back to the site and read the full description of the flapjack after eating it because I tasted honey.  It has honey it, the cinnamon wasn't as prevalent (ooo I used a big word LOL) to me and I have a sensitive pallet.  I also thought it had a slightly funny after taste, my family liked it though...

I
 love getting my Graze Box every 2 weeks but I think for December with Christmas coming up, I might only get the one I am not sure yet.  I would like to apologize again that I am behind in my Graze Box posts, I have had a lot going on. I am catching up though, be sure to come back in the next few days as I have a few more posts coming up.

Graze Box - end of October

Hi Y'all!  So, as you know I get Graze box every 2 weeks, instead of once a month (for now).  This is my end of the month Graze box, October 2013.  I really do enjoy this box, I love food and trying new things. I have to thank someone for using my FriendCode, this dropped my box from $6 to $5, so thank you Jeny M.
Alright so lets get to the box now.

This is the box.  I love the fact that the box and all its contents are recyclable.

This is the first thing I opened and tried.  Apple & Cinnamon Flapjack - rustic rolled oat flapjack with apple and cinnamon.  They remind me of a soft nutra-grain bar.  I have to say they are really good. There were only 3 of them, that was the let down, because I really liked them =}

The next was the Jalapeno Fiesta - it is Jalapeno peanuts, salsa almonds and roasted seeds.  The seeds are sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.  I was a little surprised that I loved these and I will mark these as loved so I can get them more often.

This one is the Key Lime Pie - Lime raisins, mini meringue, sponge pieces and green raisins.  I did like this one too.  The sponge pieces and the meringue bites tasted like they were freeze dried.  So if you don't like that taste then this probably will taste funny to you.

And then the Mississippi BBQ Pistachios - Smoked BBQ pistachios.  These are dusted generously with a BBQ seasoning. At first is had a kick to it with a BBQ taste.  I am a lover of pistachios so all I can say is Awesome!  I do hope I can get these again.

And as always they put in a nutrition card.

Hey you know you want to try this box.  It is $6 a box and you can get them every 2 weeks as I do or you can get them once a month.  You have the option to get the NibbleBox like I do or you can get the LightBox which you get all snacks that are low in calories.

When you sign up use my friend code and you can get your 1st and 5th box for free as well as I can get a buck off my box.  Use DAWNH2FTP at Graze.com.

New to Graze Box...

Hi Y'all!  I am trying new subscription box that I was referred to by a friend of mine, this one called Graze. Graze box is subscription of all neutral treats, with gluten free, dairy free, low calorie and vegan options.  The boxes are only $6.00 a pop, and you can have them delivered every 2, 3 or 4 weeks.  This box is well worth the 6 bucks.  This is my first one, I was super excited to get it and once I got it I had to open and start snacking right away. So, lets get to the box...

This is the box, it is recyclable as well as all the containers inside.

This is on the back of the box.  I think its cute

This is the first thing I opened up and tasted.  It is the Cinnamon Pretzel. Almonds covered in cinnamon and honey and pretzels that have poppy seeds on them. It is really good, the almonds reminded me of the sugar cinnamon nuts you can get at some of the festivals. You know the ones you can smell like half a mile away. Yeah those, SO good!

This one is Toffee Apples, its toffee sauce with dehydrated granny smith apples.  It is really good too, the toffee sauce reminds me of a mix between toffee and caramel and it is a low calorie option. (66 calories)

This one is White Choc Raspberry Cheesecake, its white chocolate, raspberry cranberries and hazelnuts.   When I got the box the chocolate was kinda melted but its understandable due to the fact that my mailbox is metal.  After I let the chocolate harden a little I dug in. There isn't much I can say about this one excepts who doesn't like sweet delicious chocolate?!?!

Alright the last one was a big surprise for me. It is Fruity Mango Chutney with Black Pepper Dippers.  The mango chutney was so good, the reason I was surprised was because I don't like mango and I really liked this.  The pepper dippers are (if I'm not mistaking) a Chinese rice cracker covered in black pepper and what taste like a some-what sweet soy sauce.

I really like that this company puts in a little booklet with the nutritional facts in with your order. The welcome card is really cute.

So, I really enjoyed this sub box and I will continue to get this.  I actually changed my delivery dates to every 2 weeks instead of once a month.  I love the fact that all the snacks are natural, the packaging is recyclable, and there are options for different diets.
